Q. If I pay registration in full by the due date, will I be guaranteed a Showcase spot?
A: It depends on if there are Showcase spots still available. The Showcases are on a first come first to register basis. The first 80 registrations paid in full will be guaranteed a Showcase spot, no exceptions! If you take advantage of the early comic registration special then you will definitely have a Showcase spot. If you use the LAFFAWAY PLAN there is no guarantee that you will get a Showcase spot.
Q. How many Showcase spots available?
A: There are only 80 Showcase spots available?
Q. Can I put a deposit down for the convention?
A: Yes, by using our LAFFAWAY PLAN. The cost of the convention if use use this plan is $299. You will have to put a non-refundable deposit of $100 to hold your spot and you can make monthly payments. Balance must be paid in full by MARCH 1, 2018
Q. Can I just do the Showcases?
A: No, you can only perform in a Showcase if you are a paid registrant of the convention.
Q. Do I have to attend the whole convention?
A: No. You can purchase a ONE DAY PASS for $200, for any individual day of the convention of your choice; however the day pass will only allow you to participate in the workshops, seminars on the day you choose. It does not include a Showcase convention special events.
Q. Is my registration fee refundable if I pay in full?
A: No. All registrations will be carried over for up to one year, OR transferable to another comedian.
Q. Are there any exceptions to the refund policy?
Q. What does the hotel room cost for the convention?
A: Hotel partners are listed on the website with details of discounted costs for convention attendees. CRC is not responsible for travel/hotel arrangements.
Q. What city should I fly into for the convention?
A: LAX is your best choice. Los Angeles has several airports to fly into. Other airports that are accessible but you will need to rent a car as there is no free shuttle other than the Los Angeles airport. John Wayne Airport-Orange County, Long Beach, Ontario, Burbank.
Q. Can I mail my registration?
A: Yes, only if you’re paying in full and only with a postal money order. No checks, cashier checks from banks will be accepted.

Q. If I mail my registration will I still get to Showcase?
A: Only if spots are available.
Q. Can I mail a payment on LAFFAWAY PLAN every month?
Q. Will there be time for sight-seeing or other activities?
A: If you would like to have time to participate in some of the many activities the Los Angeles area has to offer, you will have to plan your schedule accordingly. Perhaps fly in a day or two early to sight-see or leave a day or two later.
Q. Will transportation be provided?
A: No Each convention participant will be responsible for arranging their own transportation to and from the venues, workshops, Showcases and any other events being held.
Q. What about airline tickets?
A: All travel arrangements are the responsibility of the convention attendee. We have now partnered with a travel agent please see Travel/Hotel page.
Q. How much time will I have for my Showcase?
A: 5-7 minutes
